I graduated from Adrian College in December of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in Education with a triple minor in Elementary Education, Social Studies, and English.
Currently I teach eighth grade history, and eighth grade language arts at East Middle School in Traverse City, Michigan. I taught seventh and eighth grade language arts the first year at EMS. I am about to begin my seventh year of teaching.

School Improvement Team Leader for EMS, 2006-2008 school year.
Eighth grade National Junior Honor Society advisor since 2003.
